Abby Moore

Abby grew up at Calvary, first joining the church in 2002 during her second-grade year. She attended Calvary Christian School from kindergarten through 12th grade and graduated as Salutatorian in 2013. From there she attended NKU and received a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education in 2017. She was recognized by the Education Department for her academic achievements and received the A. Elisabeth Potts Endowed Memorial Scholarship. She graduated Summa Cum Laude. All of her previous jobs have been working with children including 4 years as a Kindergarten teacher at Campbell Ridge Elementary, before and after school care and summer camps at the YMCA, a part-time nanny, and full day childcare at Main Street Church. Growing up in Calvary, Abby has served in many different facets of our Children’s Ministries and has also been a part of our Praise and Worship Ministry for over a decade. Abby is married to Tyler Moore and has one son, Koda Moore. Tyler attended Morehead State University and received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in 2013. He works as a Controls Engineer at a local company. Abby enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. Her favorite Scripture verse is Ephesians 2:10, “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Abby fully believes that her history with Calvary Baptist Church and Calvary Christian School has helped her to grow in her knowledge and understanding of the Lord, deepening her relationship with Him. The years many others have poured into her life have now equipped her to pour into the future generation of Calvary. She is excited to be a part of what is “Next”!
