Jason Walsh has been serving as the Pastor for Student Ministries since the fall of 2015. He is married to Amy, and they have three children: Anna, Andrew, and Peter. Pastor Jason became a believer in Christ at age eight after becoming convinced he could not save himself from his sin. It was then that he knelt by his bedside to pray that God would take away his sin and give him a new life. After initially pursuing a degree in History, Jason switched his major to study for the ministry. He graduated in 2001 from Summit University of Pennsylvania (formerly Baptist Bible College) with a bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Ministry. He received his Master of Ministry degree from Summit University in May of 2015. Jason’s passion for student ministry developed while at Bible college in the late nineties. He loves discussing biblical answers to the challenging and honest questions he receives from teenagers. When he finds the time he enjoys reading, photography, canoeing, golf, brewing coffee, and watching his favorite team, the Redsox. His favorite Bible verses are Proverbs 3:5-6. One of the most impacting statements he has read outside the Bible comes from an unknown source: “Whoever wants the next generation most will get them.”
